French Quarter Wanderings - What I Wore

I love being in the presence of architecture with character, details, history, and charm. Therefore, it may sound as no surprise when I say that the French Quarter in New Orleans kept me in utter awe of the pastel colored buildings,
elaborate wrought-iron balconies, wooden window shutters, mix of architectural influences, and potted plants and window flower boxes overflowing with greenery.

Arriving in the middle of November meant the perfect 60 degree weather. Since most of our time was spent exploring and drinking cafe au lait, I bundled up in a simple striped turtleneck, high waisted jeans, and ankle boots to brave the wind and colder temperatures.
