If you're looking for some good coffee, I recommend heading over to Bird Rock Coffee in La Jolla, CA and enjoying a Gold Digger (cinnamon honey latte).
After that, drive down Bird Rock Ave where you'll come to a cliff with a staircase leading down to the water's edge. You'll want to be careful walking along the rocks, but the view is beautiful and the area is fairly secluded.
Lining the cliffs above are large homes and palm trees and as you walk along the water, you'll find so many crabs! I'm thinking next time I may need to have a picnic in this spot. :)
